Yesterday, while speaking at a Rotary Club event in Cary, NC, Governor Bev Perdue stated, “I think we ought to just suspend perhaps elections for Congress for two years”. Now her team is backpeddling and claiming that she was joking. Listen to the audio for yourself (It should be embedded below)…I don’t hear a humorous note in her voice…just more foolishness from a NC Democrat.

NC House Votes to Override Veto of HB 854 Woman’s Right to Know Act

Thank you to everyone who called your representatives encouraging them to vote to override the Governor’s veto of HB 824 Abortion – Woman’s Right to Know Act. The vote passed 72 – 47. Thank you to the House of Representatives for continuing to stand up to Governor Bev Perdue’s attempts to stifle the will of the people. Pray that the vote receives the needed 30 votes to pass in the Senate where Republicans have a 31-19 margin.
Alice Bordsen voted against the override. Remember that in the next election. Bordsen continues to forget what district she serves.
