PIT Training

I spent last Friday in PIT Training through the Alamance Law Enforcement Training Program at Alamance Community College.  PIT stands for Precision Immobilization Technique.  A fancy way of saying that if you hit one car in the right spot on another one…it spins out.  It shouldn’t be called PIT, it should be called FUN, ’cause that’s what it is!  If nothing else, being a cop has allowed me to attend trainings where we get to practice things most folks never get a chance to do.  I took some video footage for you.  I still can’t believe I get paid to spend days like this…

Video taken at the Emergency Responder’s Training Center in Sanford, NC, part of Central Carolina Community College.
